considering how much has changed since my last journal update, i felt this was needed.

although i was excited about getting into mica and getting a scholarship there, i ultimately decided to go to ccad. it just seemed more practical and benefitial. i'm excited to be moving out in a month, and i'm really excited to start school. i'm also glad to be staying in columbus. i know my roommate, and she's nice. i'm glad i'll have a roommate i like. i'm still nervous about the work load and the fear of not meeting people, but hey... if they're all pretentious scene fucks, i still have my friends 15 minutes away, right?

this summer has been a blast. i feel like i'm really taking advantage of opportunities and really staying active. i'm glad that i'm utilizing my last summer of being worry free before the whole mess of college for the next 4 years begins. i have amazing friends, and i am thankful for each and every one of you.

i'm also really proud of myself that i've started to take pictures again. it took a few long months to get back on a roll, but i've actually began to do it and i've had a few successful shots (which i've so conveniently posted in my gallery). i'm really glad that i've finally reached the point that i'm taking pictures because i LIKE to, not because i HAVE to. this isn't for college, or a portfolio, or for anything really. i'm just doing it because i enjoy it and it's what i like to occupy my time doing.

all in all, to put this in fewer words:
i'm content with my life right now.


i know, i sounded super cheezy. but, i don't think out loud in a blog ever. so, whatever. go pork a goat.

i'm sure once college starts (if i even have time) i'll have even more to say about how much shit has changed.
